The Sims 4 but I Accidentally Kill Someone is the eighth episode of the second season of KelseyDangerous' Not So Berry Challenge LP and the 19th episode overall. It premiered on her YouTube channel on August 7, 2021.[1]
Plot[]
Poppy wakes up around four o’clock in the morning due to having her first case of morning sickness. Supriya and Minthe come over, and Poppy consoles Minthe about Hazel. Then, Poppy talks to Minthe about the pregnancy before grabbing some cereal. Minthe hangs out with Rosie while Poppy goes to work. During her shift, Poppy tries to give some constructive feedback to a coworker, but it falls flat. Regardless of that, Poppy gets a promotion. Once she gets home, Poppy plays with Rosie before taking a nap.
Poppy calls Haru over and makes out with him. She cooks a meal with Haru, but discovers that Haru is not a good cook. Nonetheless, they bond together as they cook.The next day, Minthe calls Poppy while she is at work. After Poppy comes home, Minthe comes over for Game Night. Guy also comes over, even though he was feeling down. Poppy checks up on him and finds out that someone in his family has died. They plan to play a video game, but Poppy passes out from exhaustion. Once she comes to, she gets a call from a stranger, saying that her “distant relative” passed away and left her some money. Poppy accepts the offer and the conditions, and the stranger says she has to get married in 7 days. To relieve her stress, Poppy plays some video games with her friends and mother, and then Haru comes over. She invites Haru to spend the night, then engages in a deep conversation with him.
Poppy then goes to sleep, but wakes up due to hunger. She tries to secure a vote from Celia, but Celia is not convinced that Poppy is the best candidate for office. After getting some sleep, Poppy goes to the bathroom and invites Celia over in order to secure her vote. When that fails, Poppy talks to Elise and secures her vote. During work, Raphael calls and chats with his daughter. When she gets home, she promotes her policies to Guy and secures his vote. After taking a nap, Poppy tries to go on a date with Haru, but she goes into labour. She invites Haru to the hospital, but he doesn’t show up. Nonetheless, she gives birth to Summer Berry.
After Poppy gets home, she takes care of Summer and gets ready for work. While she is working, the governor offers her the position of being his running mate. Poppy accepts the offer and becomes a one star celebrity. After work, she calls Haru and asks him out on a date. They go to the Stargazer Lounge. Poppy flirts with Haru, and they start talking and making out together. Then, Poppy starts to talk about how she feels like she has to marry Haru because of her career, and they start arguing. In order to cool down, Poppy goes to the bathroom and swims in the pool. After she let off a bit of steam, she approached Haru and broke up with him.
The next day, Poppy invites Myles Landgraab over out of desperation. She asks him to be her boyfriend and goes to work. Once she gets out of work, she talks to Arlo and tries to secure a vote. Guy and Minthe come over, and Poppy tries to secure their votes. As Guy takes care of Summer, Poppy invites Myles over and proposes to him. He says yes, and they are officially engaged. Poppy cheers Guy up before the group plays video games. Celia, Josh, and Gray come over to see Summer. Despite being engaged, Poppy thinks about Josh while she’s cooking.
The next day, Poppy throws a birthday party for Summer. Poppy invites Minthe, Guy, Forrest, Myles, Raphael, Hunter, Jade, Elise, Arlo, and Celia. Kelsey tries to age Raphael up to an elder, but a glitch happens, and he dies. Luckily, Kelsey gives Raphael ambrosia and brings him back to life. At the end of the episode, Summer ages up and gains the Inquizitive trait.
