Catalina Ruiz is one of Fox Berry's love interests. She is the mother of Rose Berry, the matriarch of the Pink Generation (gen 7) and her twin sister Briar.
She met Fox in episode 7 of the Orange generation, while they were in college. Catalina later asked him on a date while he was at the Robot Festival. They had a water balloon fight and had a water balloon fight, after which they had their first kiss. After that, Catalina disappeared in the middle of the date.
In episode #8, Catalina texts Fox and confesses having a crush on him, and they agree to go on a date. They go to Pepper's Pub and have a good time, and the next day Catalina texts Fox again, saying that she has a crush on someone named Emilio LeBlanc. Fox tells her to go for it, and the next day she texts him again saying that Emilio is a sweetheart and that she's in love. Later, while Fox is having lunch with his roommate, Catalina runs into him. She later comes into Pepper's Pub, where she finds Fox (who has just enrolled on another term at college) and meets up with him. However, she is interrupted when Violet calls Fox inviting him to the spice festival, and Fox decides to bring her along. Fox and Catalina slowdance and Kelsey ends the festival early after Fox starts taking a nap in the bench.
In episode #9, Catalina went on a date with Fox out in the cold in Moonwood Mill, where they ran into Fox's sister. Catalina left right after the date ended. Later, Fox finds out that both Kumiko Aiko and Catalina are school mascots. Later, while Fox is at his family's house for Winterfest, Catalina asks him out on a date, but he doesn't want to leave so he invites her over instead. At his family's place, they WooHoo in the shower, and then they both get back to his apartment and try for a baby in the shower. After that, Catalina falls asleep and Fox starts his homework, while both of them are still in the hot tub. The next day, after Fox gets back from his final exam, he orders pizza and invites Catalina over. Kelsey adds Catalina to Fox's household and makes her get a pregnancy test. She is in fact pregnant.
In episode #10, Catalina asks Fox on a date at Von Haunt estate, to which he comes even though he's not in the mood. Days later, after Fox comes back from Slate and Reed's wedding, Catalina comes over at Fox's apartment for Game Night, but it isn't celebrated for two things: the first, Fox barely has any furniture, less even games; the second, Catalina is in labor and is reluctant to go to the hospital. Kelsey temporarily moves Catalina into Fox's household and they have the baby at the hospital. Two girls are born: Rose and Briar Berry. Catalina is moved out of the household and, after getting back from the hospital, Fox and Catalina have a deep conversation and decide that Fox will be the one taking care of the kids.
In episode #11, Catalina came to Fox's palce a couple of times and tried to take care of the babies, but wasn't too useful. Rose and Briar aged up and got the Charmer and Independent traits respectively.
