Dave Grossman is the father of Belle and Bo Impiccishmay. He is the local librarian in Willow Creek.
Biography[]
Dave met Chelsea when she came to the library, where he was working. At the time, Chelsea was still pregnant with her first child, Cecelia. After Belle and Bo were born, Dave was much more responsible with taking care of his kids than Chelsea's previous baby daddy.
Dave was seen in episode 4, when all the Impiccishmay toddlers came back home from preschool. They weren't the only ones, as Dave was also coming to visit. He was frightened by Madeline the second he entered the Impiccishmay house. He was then seeing disciplining Bo when the toddler made a mess in floor.
Dave came to the Impiccishmay house without warning on episode 5, too. When he reached the front door, Chloe was outside, stinky and in pajamas. Kelsey was stressed and hoped that Dave would help around the house without Chelsea having to ask for it. Fortunately, he kept his son and daughter busy, as the three of them hung out in the backyard for a while.
In episode 6, Dave called Chelsea and told her he would be coming over soon to see the little one (which Kelsey laughed at, because Dave has more than one kid with Chelsea). She was very alarmed when Dave came to the Impiccishmay house with a pink suitcase, wondering if he was intending to stay the night. Dave did a long series of weird things during his stay at the Impiccishmay house. He first stood in silence with Cecelia in Chelsea's bed during an hour, and then watched a TV show with Cecelia for another while. At night, he was the only one awake while everyone else was sleeping, and when the whole family was opening Winterfest presents he sitting on the computer, complaining about stuff.
Later, when Santa arrived and flirted with Chelsea, Dave was caught in the middle of it and was looking devastated. Trying to forget what he had just seen, he started doing push-ups in the living room, while his daughter Belle peed in Chelsea's bed and presenced another romantic encounter between her mom and Santa. The night after that, Dave slept on the couch, and Kelsey noticed that there was no romance left between Dave and Chelsea anymore.
In the morning, Dave sat at the table with Cecelia, who stole his Llama Berry Blast soda to take a sip of it. And the night after that, Dave spent the whole night on the computer inside Chelsea's room, while Chelsea and Belle were sleeping right beside him. Dave was later present in Elsie's early-morning age-up into a child, not knowing that Ellie would ask him on a date in the future. After Ellie and Elsie aged up, Kelsey realised that he had left the house, even though his belongings were still in the house.
Dave was seen in Chestnut Ridge in episode 20, where Chelsea had traveled to flirt with Don Gooseman. When she became pregnant and went back home, Dave started stalking her.
Later, in episode 30, Kelsey opens Chelsea's relationships and we can see that Dave is now an elder.
In part 33, when Kelsey opens Chelsea's Social Bunny, we can see that Dave is now a ghost.

- With Dave being in an NPC role and having first and last names that are in the list of default townies, he's probably a randomly generated Sim.
