According to the rules, the same donor is not allowed to be used twice. However, Kelly got consecutive pregnancies with Emma in Has Twin Boys and Tries to Save the Environment. Four days after the episode, Kelsey addressed this issue on a Twitter thread:
I really shouldn't read the 100 baby comments... every time I do I end up stressed and hurt — which is always disappointing because I love the fans so much. I know I'm imperfect and make mistakes, but pre-filming the episodes was the best decision for me. I used to love reading the comments, but I've completely stopped now because of so many people telling me I've "failed" the challenge or that I've betrayed them for not listening to the comments. I know not everyone feels this way, but it's hard to want to read any of them at all. The challenge for me was always about having fun and creating a story, and never about being perfect and following every rule. [I completely ignored some rules anyway.] It just hurts at the end of two years to have people tell me I've failed them.
