Kelsey Fights in a Wizard Duel in the Perfect Sim Challenge is the seventh episode of Kelsey Impicciche's Perfect Sim Challenge. It premiered on the BuzzFeed Multiplayer YouTube channel on September 20, 2019.

Plot

Nancy Landgraab makes a cameo appearance in the episode before Barbie and Skipper travel to the Magic Realm, where Barbie introduces herself to Simeon Silversweater, the Sage of Practical Magic, who tells her she needs to collect seven magical motes. Simeon transforms Barbie to a spellcaster after completing the task. Barbie asks him to teach him practical magic but he says she is not worthy since they are not friends enough. Meanwhile, Skipper introduces herself to Morgyn Ember, the Sage of Untamed Magic, so she can become a spellcaster as well.

Barbie becomes a spellcaster.

Kelsey misses Skipper’s spellcaster transformation and realizes Sims can practice magic without the help of another Sim. Later, Barbie learns the Repairio spell, while Skipper learns the Deliriate spell. In the morning, Barbie reaches level six of the conservationist career. Kelsey makes Barbie take a personal time off to focus on being a spellcaster.

Anyway, Barbie chooses the experimenter spellcaster perk which makes a Sim gain magic experience with less failure. Later, out of habit, Kelsey checks out Darrel Charm, saying she always has an eagle eye out for baby-daddies. Nonetheless, Kelsey finds out Barbie can make people nauseous and remarks that was rude.

Barbie and Hoodiewhoo

After learning the Scruberoo spell, Barbie successfully tests it out on Darrel, before Kelsey finds out the Magic Realm is a bunch of floating rocks in the outer space, so Barbie proceeds to a magic vendor to haggle and buy the Familiar Orb of the Sixam Owl, Wand of Astral Creation, and all the magic tomes, with 25% off discount. After shopping, Barbie summons her familiar, Hoodiewhoo, a Sixam Owl. For Skipper, Kelsey buys the Familiar Orb of the Dragon and the Marble Wand. She renames the dragon Grimmy to “Penelope,” after the dragon in Barbie as Rapunzel (2002).

Later, Skipper meets Sydney Tulip, a fellow teen spellcaster who leaves immediately after the friendly introduction. She also fills Darrel Charm’s mind with feelings of intense sadness using the Despairio spell, so Barbie starts confronting her, although Skipper refuses a hug from her sister. Skipper later challenges Simeon to a magic duel. After losing, Skipper turns back to Barbie, sharing her insecurities with a teaching moment prompt. The episode ends with the girls giving each other a hug.
