The Sims 4 but I Have a Crush on My Co-Worker is the third episode of the first season of Kelsey Impicciche's Not So Berry Challenge LP. It premiered on her YouTube channel on April 17, 2021.

Plot

Instead of hanging out with Hazel, Minthe decides to go to sleep as her energy is low. In the morning—it is Neighborhood Brawl Day—realizing it is the weekend, Minthe decides to spend the day meeting people. Adding more objects themed with mint, she redecorates her house in the meantime. Meanwhile, passing by the lawn, a neighbor named Chelsea is having her morning jog. Minthe introduces herself to her and later finds out Chelsea is a MomTuber married to a spellcaster named Simeon Silversweater.

At the local park, Minthe hangs out with teen boy Wolfgang Munch who is feeling Flirty while on a chess match with her. As Wolfgang is too young, she ignores it and chooses to do mischief interactions for her skill, so he consequently walks out the game. Later, a kid named Orange Bailey-Moon is making a mess. Kelsey is almost about to discipline him but remembers it is a different challenge and not Minthe's kid.

Pretending to be slapped by an entrepeneur named Bess Sterling, so she can reach level five of the Mischief skill, Minthe gets into her first fight with the entrepeneur lady for the holiday and then ends it with a friendly hug.

At a coffee shop, having no one interesting showing up except for Chelsea Silversweater, Minthe calls her friend from work Hazel to go to the nightclub where she gets slightly disappointed having essentially no one to meet. Tired from having had a long day, about to crash by the couch, Minthe decides to go home as Kelsey reflects on Minthe's first day of the weekend, saying, "You didn't meet the love of your life today but you know what? You can't hurry love. No. They'll just have to wait, alright? Love don't come easy. It's a game of give and take."

On the way home, Minthe bumps into a guy with a man bun Akira Kibo, although she is not able to interact with him further as she is tired.

On Sunday, Minthe adds five elements to her collection so there are only three slots left to fill. In the afternoon, Hazel takes Minthe to a flea market in San Myshuno, where Minthe encounters her high school rival, Sage Mer.

Wanting to be the only girl in school with bright-colored hair, Sage has a deep hatred towards Minthe. Minthe used to call her out one time for her actions but no one believed because of Sage's charisma. Years later, Sage ended up becoming a barista, not wanting anyone from school to find out.

Anyway, implying she has a better career than her, Minthe taunts Sage who also apparently works as a food stall vendor. Attempting to instill false confidence on her rival, Minthe gives her backhanded compliments right before subtly attempting to break her confidence again by asking her due date. As a result, Minthe reaches Milestone III of the Chief of Mischief aspiration, and subsequently proceeds to use a voodoo doll on Sage. The doll fails to work; figuring that tormenting her with it is probably below the belt, Kelsey realizes maybe it is for the best.

Minthe meets Raphael Williamson for the first time

Needing to clog the drains of three different homes as one of the challenges to do for the Chief of Mischief aspiration, Minthe leaves the house to knock the door of the Partner in Crime household. Before doing so, she stops for a moment and finds herself staring at Raphael Williamson who wears a green unbuttoned shirt. Giving him a friendly introduction, she asks his personality type although he does not know yet.

In the living room, Minthe meets Raphael's roommates — Tobias Rider, Lavender Thorne, and Lyra Granados. She begins prank clogging the lime green sink upstairs in the evening, although Lavender catches her red-handed, so Minthe proceeds downstairs where she encounters the rampaging doors of the closet where her crush Raphael and the rainbow-haired lady Lyra are hooking up.

When they finished, Lyra comes over to chat with the group like nothing happened. Minthe decides to go home because of the awkwardness of it all.

The next morning, Tobias asks Minthe out although the game cancels it, so Minthe heads to FutureSim Labs and finds out she has a new co-worker — the Raphael guy she met from the night before. Figuring out she does not need to talk to him, Minthe proceeds to spill tea on Paka'a Uha about their new technological innovator who she later catches flirting with Eliza Pancakes.

Needing to get to know a co-worker as one of her shift's goals for the day, Minthe decides to pry on Raphael while they are alone near the chemical reactor. Sensing that Raphael is embarrassed from what happened yesterday, she leaves him alone to focus on analyzing some herb samples. By the end of the shift, Minthe earns §457 and gets promoted to serum sequencer.

Back home, not able to get Raphael off her mind, she begins calling him for a mini-get together to celebrate her recent promotion. Minthe also invites her co-workers and new neighbors, including Sage who wears the exact same party ensemble. Being one of the most supportive at the mini-party, Raphael later chats with Minthe telling her he likes Sims with body piercing. As people start leaving the house later at dawn, Lyra stays for a bit to watch Minthe and Raphael talk to each other.

On Tuesday, coming to the lab hungover from the party last night, Minthe realizes she is not alone for Hazel is as well. Later, Hazel lends her her DNA sample as Raphael refused to give Minthe his. Meanwhile, Minthe confesses to Paka'a that she has a crush on a co-worker, before proceeding upstairs to workout for 30 minutes. After taking a Thoughtful Shower, she gets her seventh breakthrough and writes down an idea for a satellite dish. Later, while analyzing a plant sample, Sage calls Minthe to tease her about Raphael.

In the evening, after adding one more element to her collection, Minthe gets her eighth breakthrough and writes down an idea for a snake oil. She then trolls the people who do not already like her by sending them chain mails. Before going to bed, Minthe calls Lyra to invite her over although she is sleeping. As Minthe rests, Kelsey contemplates on getting a pet.

Allusions

• Rap God – At 6:19 of the video, Kelsey said the phrase "She collected everything to the mailbox," in exactly one second, so the editor inserted a clip of Eminem's verse in Rap God (2013), the second fastest track in his discography, next to Godzilla (2020).
• Grey's Anatomy – When Kelsey found out Rapahel is Minthe's co-worker, she alluded the situation to American medical drama series Grey's Anatomy, except that another girl hooked up with Raphael instead of Minthe.
• Clare Siobhan – At the end of the video, while thinking about getting Minthe a pet, Kelsey gave a shoutout to Sims YouTuber Claire Siobhan who has a pet for every generation in her Not So Berry Challenge LP.
