The Sims 4 but I'm Running for President is the 10th episode of the second season of KelseyDangerous' Not So Berry Challenge LP and the 21st episode overall. It premiered on her YouTube channel on August 21, 2021.[1]
Plot[]
Minthe invites the rest of the family to have a movie night with Poppy. Poppy goes out to greet her new neighbors before joining the rest of her family. However, she later ditches them to go on a date with Arlo. They go to her parents’ wedding venue and have their first kiss. After getting drinks, they go to a bar. Poppy flirts with Arlo, but Arlo keeps his distance. Regardless, Poppy asks Arlo to be her boyfriend. Poppy caresses his cheek before going home to her daughter.
While Poppy and Minthe are asleep, Summer goes downstairs to eat something. Then, she goes back up to her room to play with her blocks. Poppy wakes up from work withdrawal and takes a bath to calm herself down. Afterwards, she has breakfast and practices her speeches. Once Poppy goes to work, Minthe gives Summer a bath. Meanwhile, Poppy gives honest feedback to a coworker. Minthe goes to work and leaves Summer at Haru’s apartment.
Poppy gets a promotion at work and becomes a representative. Before she goes to bed, Poppy teaches Summer how to potty. The next morning, Poppy goes into town to secure votes. While she is there, she runs into Ellie Impicchesmay, who is the daughter of Chelsea Impicchesmay. Unfortunately, she fails to convince Ellie to vote for her. Poppy secures 3 votes, then goes home to sleep.
The next day, Summer goes potty by herself, and Minthe gives her a bath. Poppy doesn’t get a promotion at work, but she does get a vacation day. After taking a nap, she invites Elise, Josh, Pamala, Aliyah, and Arlo to the house to secure their votes. Aliyah isn’t convinced, but her friends vote for her anyway. Poppy negotiates a bonus.
The next day, Poppy gets a promotion. She plays with her daughter to celebrate, then takes a nap. She goes back to the club to arrange some votes for her. She secures one vote, then goes to visit her family. While she is there, Hunter ages up into a teenager. Meanwhile, Poppy tells the family about her cause and secures her vote. Afterwards, Kelsey gives Hunter and Forest a makeover. Poppy talks to Jade, then goes home for the night.
The next morning is Harvestfest, but Poppy goes to work anyway. However, she doesn’t get a promotion. She goes out to secure more votes. After a successful run, she goes home and goes to bed. Meanwhile, Minthe makes a grand meal for them. Once she is done, everyone goes down to eat dinner. Then, she lectures Poppy over not celebrating Harvestfest with them. Minthe gives Summer a bath before going to bed.
That Friday, she goes to work, and gets extremely close to getting a promotion. However, she just misses the mark.
